Adventures Packages

 

The ASART adventures are short-term trips to Costa Rica. As unique tropical forests surround you, you’ll discover the wonders of Costa Rica from the countryside while helping communities through a hands-on experience–and lots of fun.

 

 



  • Eco Surf Adventure -  $1350




The Eco Surf Adventure starts with a visit to San José, capital of the country and largest city of Costa Rica.  San José is located in Cartago province, home of Volcano Irazú.  As you leave the Central Valley, you will stop in Grecia to visit the old metal church and then in Sarchí to take pictures of the world’s largest Oxcart.  You will end in Guanacaste province, a paradise of sun and beaches.  Volunteers will stay near Tamarindo beach and Playa Grande, the major nesting area worldwide for the leatherback turtles as well as an amazing surf destiny.  In this area you´ll have the opportunity to assist nearby communities clean beaches, plant trees, help children in need and of course enjoy the world class surf.








  • Indigenous Adventure $1300

 




The Indigenous Adventure starts with a visit to San José, capital of the country and largest city of Costa Rica.  San José is located in Cartago province, home of Volcano Irazú.  As you leave the Central Valley, you will stop in Braulio Carrillo National Park to visit the rainforest at a unique angle, flying above the canopy of treetops.  The trip continues to Limon province, a region with an afro-caribbean lifestyle, full of white sand beaches and exotic animals. You´ll discover the wonders of Talamanca, the area with the highest mountain peaks and incredible biodiversity in Costa Rica.  With the Amubri community, you´ll have an opportunity to learn about their extraordinary culture.  You will assist them with their daily affairs, plant trees and explore the forest. 

 

 

 

 



  • Costa Rica-Nicaragua Adventure - $1500



The Nicaragua - Costa Rica adventure starts with a visit to San José, capital of the country and largest city of Costa Rica.  San José is located in Cartago province, home of Volcano Irazú.  As you leave the Central Valley, you will stop in Grecia to visit the old metal church and then in Sarchí to take pictures of the world’s largest Oxcart.  You will end in Guanacaste province, a paradise of sun and beaches.  Volunteers will stay near Tamarindo beach, a well-known spot to all levels of surfers.  In this area you´ll have the opportunity to assist nearby communities clean beaches, plant trees, help children in need and of course enjoy the world class surf.  In Nicaragua you’ll stay in Granada, the oldest city in the Western hemisphere.  There you’ll share some days helping Nicaraguan children, playing with them and working on murals with the kids of the orphanage.
